Discovered as a model while a fire fighter in San Francisco, Korean-American, Jon Komp Shin had a career that took off quickly and he became one of the top booked Asian American model/actors in both commercial and print including large global brands such as L'Oreal Paris, Lab Series, Samsung, Sony, Google, Toyota, and Volkswagon. In Korea he is recognized in TV and print ads as the face of Kosoyen. His passion and commitment to acting landed him Hollywood Film and Television roles in major projects such as Ironman 3, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Fast & Furious 7, Terminator Genisys, True Blood, and Mortal Kombat: Legacy, and he is fast becoming a breakout actor. As well, Jon has made appearances in some of the top recording artist's music videos such as Akon, The Killers, Tyga, Chris Brown, Mackelmore-Ryan Lewis, Spinnin' Records, & Kaya Stewart. He has played video game characters in both Battlefield Hardline and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands. Jon is also a regular cast of Funny or Die Productions, a Pro TapouT MMA fitness athlete, trained martial artist, 10 time marathon runner, and triathlete. On July 17, 2015, Jon Komp Shin was named one of the Top 10 Ultimate Men's Health Guys by Men's Health Magazine.
