Actor, Jorge Vega, is already a series regular on television, acting in a blockbuster film, and dancing with the Radio City Rockettes since 2013, and he is only eleven years old! He may be best known for lending his voice to the character Ogre Doug in the animated Nick Jr. series' Wallykazam! (2014). He was featured in the The Amazing Spider-Man: Le destin d'un héros (2014), acting opposite Andrew Garfield and Paul Giamatti, as a young boy facing the all-too-common problem of bullying, a cause close to his heart off screen as well.
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Jorge moved to New York at age three. As a talkative and charming boy, with an incredible memory, Jorge has made balancing homework and auditions seem easy. Jorge lives in the Bronx, New York with his mother. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
He has been cast in national TV and radio commercials for Red Lobster (Spanish), Radio Shack (Spanish), IKEA (English and Spanish), Geico, Coffee Mate, Publix and Lowe's. He has also been featured in print advertising for JCPenney, Toys R Us and Radio Shack. In Christmas 2013, 2014 and 2015, Jorge was selected for the role of Ben in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
Jorge is not just an accomplished actor. He is also is an honorary youth volunteer for the NYC Chapter of the American Diabetes Association. He loves building Legos in his spare time. His favorite sport is tennis, his favorite subject in school is science and aside from acting, his aspiration is to become a veterinarian.
