Jose Guns Alves - Biography

Jose Guns Alves is an American actor known for the Netflix original series Daredevil (2016), District C-11 (2016), Dystopia (2016), No Place For Soft Eyes (2015). He had a particularly notable performance in his portrayal of a divorced father in the short film Love And Laundry Soap (2013) winning him Best Actor at that year's Shawna Shea Film Festival in Massachusetts.

He continues to train with New York acting coaches Tom Todoroff and Jock MacDonald as well as L.A. acting coaches Peter Kelley and Molli Benson. Along with acting, he is also trained in stage combat, firearm maneuvers and boxing.

He is a former competitive collegiate track and field athlete with numerous records. He was once ranked one of the three fastest people in New England and is in his college's Athletic Hall of Fame.

When not on set, Jose enjoys heavy weight training or riding the highways on his motorcycle. He either spends quiet time with his wife and two small daughters or reading/writing screenplays.
