Joshua Safdie - Biography

Born and raised in New York City: in both Queens & Manhattan.

After his father bought a camera in 1987, he and his brother, Benny Safdie, ate, slept and for all intents and purposes performed "life" on camera.

He attended the school of Communication at Boston University.

Premiered first two feature films in two consecutive years (2008 and 2009) at Cannes at the Directors Fortnight.
