Joy Jorgensen - Biography

Joy Lauren (born Lauren Joy Jorgensen) was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She starting acting in regional theater and television in the Southeast, before moving to Los Angeles in 2001. After working in film and television, including four seasons on ABC's "Desperate Housewives," Joy began her college education at the Columbia University, where she majored in American History.

Joy now resides in Brooklyn, New York where she is writing and directing films under the tutelage of the graduate film program at New York University.
