Julia Maren Baker is known for her role as Katie on CBC's 'Heartland'. She was born on the 27th of June 2009, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. She is of Danish, Welsh and French descent.
Julia first experienced life in front of a television camera at the age of 2 (2012), when she was in the right place, at the right time. The Ron James Show's 'Ode to The Road' happened to be touring Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, where Julia lived. They required a 'cute' two year old who could recite lines. The segment including Julia (who had two lines) did not make the final cut, but her parents noticed how natural and comfortable she was in front of a camera.
Two years after signing with a local agent and one audition later, Julia landed her first role (2014) in the CBC series 'Heartland', as the series role of Katie.
