Julia Parker - Biography

A native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Julia Parker moved to Boston at the age of ten where she first caught the acting bug when she appeared in her high school production of Woody Allen's Don't Drink the Water (1969). Upon graduation from the University of New Hampshire, Julia moved to Manhattan where she studied acting at the famed HB Studios with William Hickey. She also began a successful modeling career working for several years with such companies as "Catalina Swimwear" and "Nike".

Julia relocated to Los Angeles where she continued her training at the prestigious Odyssey Theater and the Larry Moss Studios. This led to roles in such projects as the Emmy-nominated MOW, The Flight That Fought Back (2005) about the 911 plane that went down in Pennsylvania, a Series Regular spot on the syndicated travel series Distant Roads (1990) and a guest spot on 90210 Beverly Hills - Nouvelle génération (2008). In 2011, Julia is starring in the award-winning feature film Ashes (2010) along with the feature films Reservation (2010) and World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles (2011).

Julia is also a recognized Host of many infomercials, red-carpet events and on-line entertainment websites where she's interviewed celebrities, super models, newscasters and politicians.

When she is not acting, Julia is an ardent traveler and has visited such places as China, Thailand, Italy, France, Spain, Aruba, Japan, Tahiti and Morocco.
