Kaija Pellinen is an actress born and raised in Minnesota, USA. She is the youngest child and only daughter of Pete Pellinen, a former Opera Singer and current children's theatre instructor, and Mary McReynolds, an environmental planner and local city councilor. She has two older brothers.
She was born in St Paul, MN moved to Virginia, MN at 7, and returned to the Twin Cities to complete her high school education at 16, living in dorms at the Perpich Center for Arts Education for her final two years.
During her time in Virginia, Kaija participated in many sports, theatre and the arts as well as being a member of the local Jr Rifle Marksmanship Team. She is an award winning shooter with comfort and familiarity with black powder weaponry as well as modern rifles.
Making home base in MN for the time being Kaija enjoys traveling for all sorts of work. She's spent time in New Hampshire, Texas and Los Angeles.
