From the farming town of Newfane, NY, Karen E. Wright studied Bel Canto Singing with former NY MET Soprano, Rita Altay-Lowe. Karen performed in numerous plays, musicals & local events. In NYC, Karen began her career,touring in the lead role of TheatreWorks USA's musical- Lady Liberty; commissioned by The Kennedy Center in 1984 / Statue of Liberty Centennial tribute, Music by Joe Raposo.
