Karissa Strain is an actor and model. She moved to Toronto in 2008 to began her career in the entertainment industry. She quickly found roles in commercial advertisements and print campaigns; including work for Bell, Sears and Nike. She starred in the 2013 remake of Carrie with her sister Katie Strain. She also leads a sketch comedy group which includes her twin sister and a friend she met at university.
Karissa's recent acting work includes a guest appearance on the show Murdoch Mysteries, a lead role in an episode of Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, as well as multiple appearances on the Canadian version of Scare Tactics.
