Kate Gartside - Biography

Kate Gartside was born in Nottingham and grew up in Derbyshire. She is a graduate of the Drama Centre London. She acted primarily in theatre before landing the role of Ally in the hit TV comedy drama series "All Quiet on the Preston Front" which ran for three seasons. Other television and film work followed. She started screen writing in the late 1990s.
