Katrina Norman - Biography

The story goes that Katrina Lynne Norman entered this life dancing.

While that might not be technically true, the vivacious beauty with emerald green eyes came out kicking - and hasn't stopped since.

At just two-years old, Arizona native Katrina started taking karate lessons, which as fate would have it, were held in a dance studio. By the next year, dance had become her passion. Her determination, discipline, and powerhouse talent led to a dozen years of national dance competitions. Katrina relocated to Los Angeles at 15-years old to study with the industry's top choreographers at the renowned EDGE Performing Arts Center and Millennium Dance Complex. During Katrina's intensive training, she danced for the LA Sparks WNBA basketball team. After a brief stint in Las Vegas dancing at Treasure Island, she moved back to Los Angeles to study acting and pursue a career in film and TV as vigorously as her dance endeavors.

Today, Katrina's TV credits include popular shows like ABC's "Castle", CBS's "CSI", Nickelodeon's "Victorious", and CW's "90210". Most recently, she worked on the new VH1 series "Hit the Floor" as well as HBO's television movie "Behind the Candelabra (directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon). On the big screen, Katrina's credits include "No Strings Attached" (starring Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman), "Burlesque" (starring Cher and Christina Aguilera), "FAME", and "17 Again" (starring Zac Efron).

The future holds promise for this exceptional young talent, but Katrina never waivers from the core values instilled by her family & dance and acting teachers. She continues to approach her calling - with integrity, passion, a great sense of humor, and eternal optimism.
