Kattia Ortiz was born in Los Angeles, California. Raised in Boyle Heights/ East L.A. She was scouted by a talent scout looking for new faces and booked her on "Moesha". From there her confidence,personality and drive landed her numerous commercials and a recurring role on the funny TV series "Scrubs". That's when she realized that acting was her true passion and has gone on to booking roles on Strong Medicine, Entourage, Lincoln Heights, CSI Miami and many more. Her goal in acting is to be able to touch people with her work and to be a positive role model not only to her Latino community but to everyone out there with a dream.
