Veteran Los Angeles TV news anchor Kent Shocknek frequently is cast for authentic portrayals of newscasters, reporters, commentators, and similar parts in dramas and comedies. Increasingly, he has been sought out to play authority figures, outside the realm of the broadcasting industry. His breakout role was starring as the male lead in the 2014 short film, "The 6 O'Clock."
