Kevin Strom - Biography

Kevin Strom is an identical twin born in Frankfurt, Germany while his parents toured Europe on an extended two year Honeymoon. His family returned to the United States and Kevin grew up in the rural Midwest town Wheaton, Illinois. Founded in 1836, Wheaton is the former home to Actors John and Jim Belushi, Director Wes Craven, Actor/Director Dennis Dugan, Journalist Bob Woodward, Evangelist Billy Graham, Astronomer Edwin Hubble, Veggie Tales Creator Phil Vischer and NFL Hall of Fame Running Back Harold "Red" Grange.

Kevin earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Corporate Communications from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois in 1992 where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. During College, he was a black belt martial arts instructor training under ninth degree black belt Han Suk Lee and placed first 13 times in fighting and weapons competitions.

Kevin was a Police Officer and Evidence Technician for the Elgin, Illinois Police Department and after migrating to California in 1998 served as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for the Orange County Sheriff's Department. He graduated first in his class at the Sheriff's Academy and additionally received an academy record four of the six total individual achievement awards presented at the graduation ceremony.

Following Law Enforcement, Kevin has had an extensive career in sales and marketing of emerging wireless digital video and data technology spanning more than a decade. He was appointed as the Western US Sales Director for Sequent Technologies, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Votan Research Corporation and then as a Government Sales Director for AT&T. Kevin has been a featured speaker at conferences and summits throughout the US. Most recently he created and co-founded the new global social media website GlobeChat.

Within the Entertainment Industry, Kevin has partnered with Carlos Lauchu (Stargate, Spyhard, Baywatch) of Alpha Omega Productions to Produce the Psychological Thriller "Sutures" in 2008. Kevin teamed up with Brothers Mark and Jeff Celentano (Say it in Russian, Moscow Heat, Primary Suspect, Gunshy, Under a Hula Moon, Dickwad) to form Red Sky Media LLC in 2009 and Produce the Action Thriller Breaking Point (Tom Berenger, Busta Rhymes, Armand Assante, Sticky Fingaz, Musetta Vander).
