Khaira Ledeyo was born in Vung Tau, Vietnam and immigrated to Canada with her family when she was two years old. She grew up in Edmonton and spent many years traveling in Asia and Central America before making Vancouver, British Columbia her home. She is an actor and an audio describer with Vocal Eye Descriptive Arts. She continues to help grow United for Organics, a cooperative that she founded in 2008 and is crazy about home-learning with her son, in an unschoolin' kind of way. She loves fresh jackfruit, chilled lychees, red curry and dandelion tea.
