Kimberly Pal - Biography

Kimberly Pal Cambodian/Chinese/Indian descent is the second child of four siblings and was born in Cambodia on September 14, 1978 during the Khmer Rouge Genocide War. Her grandfather made a living as a Veterinarian and her grandmother a daughter of a merchant. Kimberly's father a captain in the Cambodian army artillery division lost his life near the end of the genocide. Kimberly's mother a well-educated women whom worked as a banker prior to the war. The Pal family like many other Cambodians made the dangerous journey seeking safety and help in refugee camps that were waiting for them in Khao Daeng, Thailand. While awaiting political asylum; Kimberly's mother helped as a translator assisting the Red Cross volunteers. The Pal family migrated to the United States of America in February 1983. They started their roots in St. Paul, Minnesota but in the summer of 1990 Kimberly and some of her family members moved to Long Beach, California. As a child Kimberly Pal grew up on stage performing in theater arts and dance. Throughout her teenage years she continued with her passion by performing in various high school plays and dance showcases. She continues with her studies by taking acting workshops throughout Los Angeles. Kimberly finished filming her action/sci fi feature film called Hollywood and Vine; she is one of the leading actresses in the movie. Kimberly is also one of the Executive Producer and Producer on this film.
