Kristin McKenzie - Biography

Born in Houston, Texas, and raised nearby in Katy, Kristin McKenzie took her first leap with acting on a local stage at the age of 6. Her on stage productions include "Our Town", "Pillow Talk", "The Soapy Murder Case", "Welcome to Warmwater", Broadway Jr.'s "Fiddler on the Roof", "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", "Approaching Lavender", and many more. She has also competed in Texas Private and Parochial School acting competitions where she placed in state, and has since participated in Adult Competitions ranking with high honors. Kristin has participated with many improvisational comedy troupes such as ComedySportz High School League, Monkey Butler, LA Connection, and has coached a high school improvisational troupe as well.

After graduation from a private school in Katy, Texas, Kristin then pursued a Theatre and English degree from Texas A&M University where she would continue her education one step further to also obtain a teaching certificate in these fields. Kristin has continued working in acting as well as in the technical side of theatre (specifically in directing, choreographing, and writing) on shows such as "Midsummer Night's Dream", "24- Hour Theatre", "Trojan Women", and "The Student New Works Festival", "It's a Wonderful Life", "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever", "Harvey", "Peter Pan: The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up", and directed a personally written play entitled "The Hugh Morris 1980's Variety Show".

Kristin continues working for a traveling theatre companies as an independent contractor. When it comes to TV, Film, Modeling, Book/ Script Editing, Hosting, and Marketing, Kristin continues to travel across Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, Nevada, and California working for businesses and production companies. She loves the adventure of relocating, traveling, and remaining immersed in the film industry.
