Kristina Denton - Biography

Kristina Denton is an American actress/writer/producer known for her unique blend of sass, class and... sex appeal. Coined as "the one you bring home to Mom and never introduce to your brother" by more than one casting director, she has played a wide array of characters.

In a short time, she has amassed over 50 independent film credits, small and large. Some of her notable acting credits include "Paparazzi", a Comedy Central pilot with Sam Levine ("Freaks and Geeks") and "Father vs. Son" an independent feature with Eric Stonestreet (ABC's "Modern Family"). She recently worked with director Martha Coolidge on Sony Pictures "The Unknown" starring opposite Tony Goldwyn (ABC's "Scandal").

Raised in rural central California, she had a small town heart with big city dreams from a young age when she first proclaimed her dream was to be an actress at the age of two. A performer her entire childhood, through competitive dance and sports, it was only a matter of time before her passion for storytelling was translated from stage to screen.

The day after graduating college in northern California and knowing nothing about the business, she moved to Los Angeles to finally pursue her dream. She immediately enrolled in The Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown two-year Meisner conservatory to build the foundation for her craft.

Beyond acting, Kristina has written and produced several short films and features, including, "The Deed", "All or Nothing" and "Dirty Money". Her first play, "The April Project", was staged in Los Angeles in early 2012 and the first feature she was hired to write,"Our Guy", starring John Stamos (USA's "Necessary Roughness") begins filming fall 2013. "A BIG Love Story", her first feature as producer is out on DVD fall 2013.

She currently lives in Los Angeles.
