Kunjue Li - Biography

Kunjue Li is the founder of China Dolls Production Ltd and a respected Chinese actress. She gained her MSc in Business Management at London School of Political and Economic Science before training as an actress at Drama Centre. Her debut TV role was playing the lead in a Chinese Comedy called Ciao Britain. She is best known in the UK for her role as Blush Pang in Ripper Street. (BBC), as Chin in Peaky Blinders (BBC) with Sam Neil and Cillian Murphy, and as ChengHua in One Child (Sundance).

Her production credits include Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tell Me on a Sunday in the West End and the London production of Broadway hit Urintown. She co-produced Harajuku Girls in Finborough Theatre, and is now co-producing with Tantrum Films Ltd on her first feature film of a dark comedy set in the 90s London.

She is the Co-founder of Equilibrium Promotions, a company that devoted to supporting new writing and creating more opportunities for women and professionals of minority ethnic backgrounds.
