Lara Shah was born in Secaucus, NJ and raised in Iselin, New Jersey.
Her family moved to Jupiter, Florida when she was four years old, where she played the mother kitten in her preschool production of "The Three Little Kittens." She moved back to New Jersey after a year and went on to perform in school plays throughout middle school and high school.
Stemming from her love of entertainment, she was a television anchor in high school, a radio host in college, and went on to intern in PR at MTV Networks. After school, she worked at Warner Bros. in New York City. As much as she enjoyed the corporate side, she knew acting was her true calling.
Soon after Lara moved to Austin, TX, she traveled to Wilmington, NC to play a detective on "One Tree Hill." The experience convinced her to pursue her passion. Lara now works as a film, television, and commercial actress out of Austin, TX.
