Laura Diakun - Biography

Laura Diakun began playing golf with her dad when she was eight years old. While she was going to the University of Toronto to study law, a family friend gave Diakun information on an intern position with The Score Television Network. She missed the deadline that year, but the next term she tried again and got an interview and began working as an intern. Laura's role include updating The Score's sports ticker, working in the newsroom as an assignment editor, assembling and voicing highlights and hosting the sports segment on Global News Toronto.
