Lauren Stamile - Biography

After a memorable arc as Patrick Dempsey's love interest, Nurse Rose, on Shonda Rhimes' Grey's Anatomy (2005), actress Lauren Stamile will once again don scrubs as Dr. Bridget O'Neill, starring opposite Jason O'Mara on the highly anticipated medical thriller Complications (2015), premiering June 18th on USA.

Stamile has recurred opposite a succession of strong leads on other fan favorite series: as an intrepid reporter investigating Tony Goldwyn on Scandal: Bí mat tham do (2012), a CIA pit bull directing Jeffrey Donovan on Burn Notice (2007), a wry professor dating Joel McHale on Community (2009), and a staunch vegan hooking up with Bradley Cooper in Kitchen Confidential (2005).

In addition to her role opposite John Cho and Eddie Kaye Thomas on the half-hour comedy series Off Centre, appartement 6D (2001), Stamile assumed the sultry Southern lead with Jerry O'Connell in the TV adaptation of Nora Robert's bestseller Un amour éternel (2009), and starred as television's favorite angel, Kate Jackson, in NBC's Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of 'Charlie's Angels' (2004). Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Stamile is the middle of five children. After earning a theater degree from prestigious Northwestern University, she moved to New York City where she performed off-Broadway and as an understudy on the Great White Way in advance of heading west to Los Angeles where she currently resides with her husband and son.
