Leann Lei - Biography

Leann Lei is an actress, producer and a professionally trained opera singer. She received her Bachelor's Degree at XingHai music college where she had professional opera singing and piano training. While working as a vocal instructor and chorus conductor at Liwan Fine Art School, she produced and directed musical plays and also sang and hosted for many shows during Chinese holidays and events.

Leann lived in Vienna, Austria for a year where she learned German and received further singing training. She came to the US and taught Mandarin in public schools and received her master's degree in Art of Education. In 2012, she left her tenured teaching job and moved to Los Angeles to fulfill her dream of becoming a professional working actress since she was a little girl.

Leann has been working consistently since she moved to LA. She has worked on many great roles in independent films and commercials. Her TV debut is guest staring as "Tammy Hyun" in FOX TV series "Bones", followed by "Serafina" in ABC TV series "Castle".

In 2015, Leann had her producing debut with the feature film "Buddy Solitaire" in which she also played an intensive woman with a dark past, followed by the web series "Before I Got Famous".

Leann believes that success=hard work+reliable+talent+luck.

At her spare time, Leann loves to tent camping, cook Chinese food, eat, workout, do Kung Fu, see operas, play various sports, watch movies, hang out with friends, or just enjoy alone time at home.
