Kathleen Mazzotta was born in Colorado on January 5, 1969. After graduating high school she became an exotic dancer. In the early 1990s, when amateur adult videos reached their peak popularity, she and her husband decided to make a handful of them for fun and some extra money.
Her enthusiastic performances and exotic good looks (she's Italian) quickly made her a standout in the amateur adult-film market. In 1992 adult movie producers took note of Kathleen's popularity and, after getting breast implants, she made her big splash into the bigger (and higher paying) world of "pro" porn under the name of Leena. She soon became a popular performer with fans and critics alike, winning several "best performer" and "best actress" awards at the AVN, XRCO and FOXE awards. However, after more than three years as one of the adult industry's top performers, she decided she had "done it all" in the industry and was going into "mainstream" movies. She soon got parts in B-films like Other Men's Wives (1996) and Femalien (1996), as well as a part on the short-lived Showtime series Sherman Oaks (1995). In the past few years she has only appeared in a few commercials and infomercials, but is a successful and respected theater actress in Los Angeles.
