Leifennie was born in Malaysia and raised in Indonesia, to an Indonesian father and Malaysian mother. She has two older brothers. She graduated from Taylor's University (Malaysia) with First Class Honours in Bachelor's Degree of International Hospitality Management.
Her love for creating art whether on stage or on screen has led her from a university stage performance to making a debut as one of Kublai Khan's concubine, ChangYang, in Netflix's original series entitled "Marco Polo".
Leifennie has guest-starred in a short documentary aired on Malaysia's NTV7 as Laurie, a victim of a serial rapist. She appeared on NTV7's Bella show as the main talent in Talent Corp Malaysia video series.
Leifennie has also performed on numerous theatre productions as well as being a part of Malaysia's biggest smallest art festival, "Short+Sweet 2013".
