Lex Montgomery - Biography

Lex Montgomery was born on October 1, 1992 to Louisiana Creole parents, in the suburbs of Saint Louis, MO. The youngster participated in musical theater as a child, portraying roles such as Ngana in South Pacific (The Muny Opera).

She also dabbled in entrepreneurship, starting a custom fashion design business at age 12. Lex attended Schmalkalden School of Applied Sciences in Germany where she studied International Business, and obtained a BSBA in International Business with minors in Spanish & Economics. After returning to the US, she shot a few student films and re-discovered her love for entertainment. Lex has co-produced and acted as casting director for fashion & reality TV. She's coordinated an International Food Fair, Food Expo, several fashion shows, and an Urban Arts Expo. But her true love is in performance. Lex has shot commercials for Nutri Ninja, ALDI, Chevy, Lenovo, Osmo Evoluiton, and Rocky 4 Eur Sole among others. She's most recently appeared as guest star Clara Johnson on "Speaking for the Dead," Gabrielle Morgan on the new web series "Hurry Up And Wait," and Shatrondra on All Def Digital's "Hood Lessons" (produced by Russell Simmons).

Her other interests include MMA boxing/kick-boxing, 10 years as a professional dancer, a bestselling cookbook on Amazon ("The Cajun Caveman"), modeling, blogging (TheImaginaryChef.com), yoga, hiking, SEO & web-design/development, entrepreneurship. Lex is a member of SAG-AFTRA.
