Liana Mendoza - Biography

Liana Mendoza, is Native American, Latina and Italian. She Grew up between North East Los Angeles and San Juan Del Monte Rancho in Guadalajara, Mexico. She joined the cast of the FX hit Emmy-Award Winning show and franchise American Horror Story: Hotel in 2015 and the show has garnered much recognition. The show was nominated for a Golden Globe 2016. Since then, she has joined the cast of Baskets with Zach Galifianakis and Louie Anderson. After being added to Season 2 of Better Call Saul, this stream of success led her to become the "Face" of the LBA (Latin Business Association) and is the Ambassador for over 800,000 companies and businesses as well as over 50 Fortune 500 companies. She is an international spokeswoman and motivational speaker. Appearing in LA Times, Multiple Magazines and Talk Shows, this woman has been named the Top Sexiest Spaniards by Latina Magazine. Miss Mendoza started performing as a tap dancer by age 3 and moved onto modern jazz, ballet and hip hop and was invited into Hamilton High School for Performing Arts. She was invited into a professional ballet dance company by age 8. Mendoza, by age 12, began training in martial arts, grappling and hand to hand combat. After over a decade of training she began a career in the world of acting as a stunt-woman. Mendoza was honored by Sag-Aftra with an Appreciation Diversity Award and given Special Congressional Recognition for her work as a stunt woman on G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, Jimmy Kimmel, Crank 2: High Voltage, and film Decisions along with recognizing as her volunteer work in the community, especially with at-risk and inner city youth.

Her first principle role was given by Master P (Percy Miller) as she starred alongside Katt Williams and Master P in the TV Movie "Internet Dating" as Claudia. She went on to Star in such TV Shows as Scandal, Bones and Disney's Epic Offenders. She briefly returned to her stunt roots in the hit blockbuster film "A Haunted House" starring Marlon Wayans.

Liana Mendoza grew up in a neighborhood nicknamed "Frog Town" due to the vast quantity of frogs located in the area of North East Los Angeles with her brother, actor Adam Mendoza.

Mendoza credits her aunts Yvette Saucedo and Juanita Anguiano with being the biggest influence for her being able to have obtained her dreams, goals and success. "Their support was insurmountable and necessary for my mentality of success" she states.

Believing in the philosophy that that we all pass the elevator back down--in the words of Jack Lemmon--she involves herself in youth programs and charity organizations including Operation Smile, Sober College, Help as One, Every Monday Matters, Stand up in the Halls and Students Run LA with at-risk youth and completed the Los Angeles Marathon with her. Miss Mendoza is the Co-Founder of Carbon Pipe Dreams which helps to spread education on preserving the planet.
