Lina Roessler is the recipient of a double honors degree in English and Creative Writing from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, and a performance degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. She's been busy ever since, performing on stage and screen in Montreal, New York and Toronto.
Selected New York stage credits include: "Hurlyburly" (St. Marks Theatre), "Hamlet" (La Terrazza Theatre) and the New York premières of "Sitting Pretty" (Hypothetical Theatre) and "Zarathustra Said Some Things, No?" (Bridge Theatre). Selected Montreal stage credits include "Doubt" (Centaur Theatre), "Beach House", "Burnt Sienna" and "Barnacle Wood" (Infinitheatre).
Her film credits include Funkytown (2011) (Caramel Films), Sur le rythme (2011) (Cristal Film), I'm Not There (2009) (Killer Films) and Snow & Ashes (2010) (Neige et Ceindre), for which she was nominated for an ACTRA award for outstanding female performance in October 2011. She also has a role on the Syfy Channel series Lost Girl (2010).
