Lovely, buxom and shapely blonde actress Lindsay Bloom greatly enlivened a handful of hugely enjoyable 70s drive-in exploitation pictures with her winningly brash'n'bubbly personality, considerable vitality, solid acting skills, and delectably attractive looks. Lindsay was born in Omaha, Nebraska on August 28, 1952. Bloom began her show business career as a participant in beauty contests. She won the titles Miss Arizona and Miss USA in 1972. Lindsay was terrific as the titular sexy'n'sassy hick chick in the delightfully dippy redneck comedy hoot Sixpack Annie (1975). She was likewise memorable as perky model Claire in Cover Girl Models (1975), the sweet Sugar McCarthy in Texas Detour (1978), bawdy prostitute Annie in the marvelously offbeat Crown International oddity French Quarter (1978), Jean Harlow in Hughes and Harlow: Angels in Hell (1977), and stuck-up sorority snob Melody Ragmore in the hilariously raunchy H.O.T.S. (1979). Bloom was excellent as loyal secretary Velda on the TV series Mike Hammer (1984) and appeared as herself in several episodes of the game show Super Password (1984).
