Lisa Hampton - Biography

Lisa Hampton is an American television and film actress, best known for her work on NBC's Parenthood and the award-winning TNT television series Saving Grace with Holly Hunter. She appeared opposite Holly in a supporting role, and continued to work with Ms. Hunter in a creative capacity. In addition, she has appeared in CBS's The Mentalist, Saturday Night Live, and the box-office hit God's Not Dead opposite Kevin Sorbo, as well as multiple national TV commercials.

Hampton was born in Freehold, New Jersey, where her father grew up in the same class as "The Boss", Bruce Springsteen. She was selected to join the prestigious NBC Page Program in New York City after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University. She then attended The William Esper Studio (of The Neighborhood Playhouse), a three year theater conservatory, affiliated with NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She has studied with Los Angeles acting coaches Diana Castle and Lesly Kahn.

Lisa has co-written a feature film script about Early On-Set Alzheimer's which she is co-producing. She is an advocate for raising awareness for the cause, as her personal grandmother was affected, and was an active member of The Alzheimer's Association Junior Committee, here in Los Angeles.
