Lisa Marie Summerscales - Biography

Lisa is an LA based actress trained in both theater and film. In her latest feature, "Ritual", Lisa took the starring role, directed by Mickey Keating, the film was recently purchased by Lionsgate.

Along side her love for Indie film Lisa has excelled at The Groundlings School of Comedy. She secured her spot on the Writing Lab wait list. Lisa is writing and producing a sketch show that will hit the stage early next year. Her latest webseries, Destroy the Alpha Gammas has hit the screen and Lisa is performing regularly with her improv team "No You Don't, Oprah"

Lisa's Production Company, Dirtie Blonde Productions, Won Best in Theater from The Hollywood Fringe Festival for their production of "Girl Band in the Men's Room. Lisa starred in this show as the stereotypical '90s drummer, Murphy. In addition to these projects, some of her favorite credits include; a Kieran Valla Production, Hubble's 21st Birthday, The AFI Film "Carlstown" where she takes the lead as Harper a 17 year old girl who has been fighting her way back home in a post apocalyptic world, and Blackbox Television's lead in the thriller, "Three Way" /Episode 11. Lisa earned her BFA in Theater Performance from Ohio University; graduating with honors and receiving both the Most improved Actor's scholarship as well as an Ambassador of the Arts scholarship. Lisa was heavily involved with the graduate program at Ohio University's School of Film. This January Lisa will be continuing her training with Lesly Kahn's Comedy Intensive.
