Liz Vassey - Biography

Liz Vassey was born on August 9, 1972 in Raleigh, North Carolina and was raised in Tampa, Florida. She began acting at the age of nine (portraying Oliver in the musical of the same name) and continued to work extensively on the stage, performing in over fifty plays at regional and professional theaters in the Tampa Bay area. She was invited to take theater classes at the University of South Florida at the age of thirteen. Continuing her studies, she worked with an acting teacher from the HB Studios for two years, and took classes at such places as Manhattan Class Company, University of Southern California and Howard Fine Studios.

Liz has appeared as a regular or recurring character on nine television shows including Les experts (2000), The Tick (2001), Maximum Bob (1998), Brotherly Love (1995) and La force du destin (1970) (for which she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy). Her hobbies are writing (she has sold two potential pilot scripts to studios), scuba diving and running.

She lives with her husband, David Emmerichs, in Los Angeles with their combined brood of way too many pets.
