Luca Tommassini - Biography

His middle name is Valentino, since he was born in Valentine's Day. His first work was a commercial when he was just eleven years old. His father was a mechanic and his mother a housewife. His father was also a race car driver. He went to America for the first time by himself when he was sixteen. He worked as dancer or choreographer with the biggest names of the world music like Madonna, Prince, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Diana Ross and Ricki Martin. In 1989 and 1996 he was lead dancer at the The Academy Awards. After a long period spent in the States he came back in Italy, working again as dancer, creative director and choreographer for several TV shows. He also directed and realized the choreography for the tours of some of the bigger Italian singer like Anna Oxa, Claudio Baglioni and Paola & Chiara. Then he moved to London and was involved in the beginning of Gari Halliwell solo artist career after the Spice Girls period. In the same period he was called to work for Kylie Minogue and he admits: "Since I was back from a long period in America I didn't actually know who Kylie Minogue was".
