Lucas Linehan - Biography

Lucas Linehan is an Australian actor based in Melbourne. Lucas began performing at 20 years old. His first role was in an amateur theatre production of 'The Breakfast Club', in which he played the role of the troubled youth 'John Bender'. The next couple of years saw Lucas landing roles in short films and unpaid student work. In 2012, Lucas starred in lead roles in nearly 20 short and student films as well as three feature films.

Lucas' first lead role in a feature film was in the 2013 film 'Monster Pies', which opened to the public in at the Melbourne International Queer Film Festival. It was here at the MQFF that 'Monster Pies' won rave reviews and the coveted 'Best Feature Film' at the festival, with Linehan also receiving some great reviews for his performance.

Lucas is studying his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney, and will graduate in 2017.
