Her father Klaus Pohl is a renown playwright and actor and her mother Sanda Weigl is a singer. Her grandfather Egon Weigl was the cousin of Bertolt Brecht's wife Helene Weigel. Lucie's cousin is Germany's Anna Thalbach. She speaks German, French, Greek,and Spanish.
She studyied acting at the University of the Arts in Berlin, Germany.
