Born and raised in a suburb of Los Angeles, Ludwig's mind and spirit gravitated towards performance at an early age. After many years of dedication to the stage, starring in several productions in Southern California, Ludwig turned his efforts towards film and television. His role as Armenian-mob boss Ellis Rezian on the FX hit drama series "The Shield" garnered much praise and became a stepping stone to future projects. An actor, writer, director, and producer, Ludwig lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Amy, and son, Monty.
