Lydia Boland - Biography

Lydia Frances Koerner Boland was born on May 10, 2004, in Hannibal, Missouri, to Lynn (Hall), a former high school English teacher and basketball coach, and Bobby Boland, who owns and operates a Ford automobile dealership. She is the fourth of five siblings. Lydia stumbled upon her acting ability when she starred in a local television commercial for her dad's dealership. From here, Lydia retained an agent in St. Louis where she began booking print and commercial roles, her first with American Girl where she landed on the cover of its national magazine. It wasn't long before she earned her first film credit at the age of six, as "Becca" in "Acts of God" (2014). Along this same time, she was offered representation by a well-known Los Angeles agency and soon she was traveling back and forth from Missouri to LA, and splits her time between the two. Lydia has a recurring role as Molly on Nickelodeon's "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn" (2014) and starred in the film, "Good Kids" (2016), starring Zoe Deutch and Ashely Judd. All who know Lydia, embrace her mid-western attributes as well as her tom-boyish demeanor. She is a competitive swimmer and triathlete, as well a member of a club volleyball team. Lydia is also an avid reader and usually is engrossed in several books at a time.
