Born December 7, 2008, Lyric Hurd (also know as Lyric the Diva ) is a 6-year-old social media star, fashion icon, actress, runway and print model. The DMV native began her modeling career at the tender age of 4 when she entered Glynn Jackson's Showbiz Kidz of the DMV runway competition and won first place in March 2013. Soon after, her pictures began to circulate all over the net, where she became known as a young, fashion icon. Since then, Lyric has begun a career in acting, and her first television appearance was in January 2014 when she appeared on the PBS Sprout public service announcement for the 2014 Winter Olympics. She has since booked roles in national commercials and films.
