Mack Kuhr - Biography

Michael Alan Charles Kuhr, known by his nickname "Mack", was born in Gainesville, Florida. He attended Virginia Tech for exercise science and health promotion. He began modeling throughout college then decided to pursue acting a few years before moving to New York City in 2009. His first professional acting role was in the ABC television series "Ugly Betty" (2010), soon followed by appearances on "Gossip Girl" (2011) and "Person of Interest" (2012).

Born on September 9, 1975, Mack studied acting in New York City at the Maggie Flanigan Studio and voiceover at AP Voices. Earlier in his career he studied with Michael Hunter in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He started performing in variety shows at the age of 15 in Chesapeake, Virginia at junior high and high schools, then on to performing at shows with his Boy Scout troop. The acting bug took over when runway modeling and performing on stage combined with his love for the movies. Mack chose the east coast and moved to New York City to stay close to family. Since then, Mack has performed both acting and stunts for commercials, network television and indie/feature film.
