Maddy Lewis - Biography

Maddy Lewis industry break came in 2010, working on a Tribute Short Film called Everybody Knows My Name.

Born in Swansea, South Wales from a working class Welsh family, Maddy Lewis moved to London at the age of 18. Maddy studied Acting and Theatre Studies at the University of Surrey. And enrolled to train as a professional actress at an accredited London Drama School in 2001 but opted out for financial reasons, and went on to take her first acting job in a Theatre Tour obtaining her Equity Card and working hands on ever since.

In 2003, Maddy had an opportunity to work in Canada with a casting agency. Maddy left London for 18 months and gained extensive behind the scenes experience in Ontario, Canada. Maddy worked along side Casting Directors, and Producers for stage and screen. Maddy then decided to become a Producer. She open her own production company Easy Tiger Productions on return to the UK in 2005 and focused on producing creative projects. Maddy went on to produce theatre shows at The Edinburgh Fringe and London West End, Music videos for Signed Artists, Short films, and Short documentaries.

In 2011, Maddy created a Soul Band called The Franks. In 2012, The Franks released a Single called, 'Lies' distributed by Genepool. In 2014, the Second Single, 'Heart on Fire' was White Labelled as Vinyl.
