Marcelo Córdoba - Biography

Marcelo Córdoba was born in Buenos Aires, Argentine, from a middle class family with no particular ties to show business. At 26, he started to work as an extra in TV commercials, soap operas and movies, also modeling from time to time, and even as a stunt in films. Finally a manager hired Marcelo for a small part in a soap opera called "Ricos y Famosos", starting his career officially as a professional actor. Years later, Marcelo managed to get a part in a beer comercial in México, where he called the attention of Eugenio Cobo, head of the Contracting Department of Televisa, the most important television Studio of Latin America. After a year of training in the techniques and craft of television making of Televisa, landed his first role in the acclaimed telenovela "Alborada", alongside Fernando Colunga and Lucero, starting from then, and until now a successful career in Mexican television,playing all kinds of roles and appearing in many shows, even hosting important artistic events. in 2015,appeared in his first feature films since his Argentina days (he appeared in two films but uncredited): the biblical Santiago Apóstol,filmed in locations of Almeria, Spain, playing Pedro el Apostol
