Margaret Judson - Biography

Margaret Judson can be seen regularly on "The Newsroom" (2012), an HBO drama. It's the brain-child of Academy Award-winner Aaron Sorkin and produced by Scott Rudin, Alan Poul and Greg Mottola.

Margaret was hand-picked by Aaron Sorkin to leave cable news at MSNBC and move into the role of "Tess Westin".

Mr. Sorkin also invited Ms. Judson to be a member of his writers' team on "The Newsroom", as a consultant.

Originally from Chicago, Margaret graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She began her broadcast career at the prestigious NBC Page Program in New York. At NBC, Margaret worked with everyone from Jeffrey Immelt and Lorne Michaels to Jimmy Fallon and Brian Williams.
