Maria Dinn was born and raised in Holyrood, Conception Bay, Newfoundland, Canada. She began taking classes in ballet, jazz, and creative movement for dance theatre from an early age. It was not until late in high school that Maria turned her attention from dancing to acting. In her last year of high school she stared in the play "Sorry, Wrong Number".
Upon graduating from the University of Windsor with a BFA in Acting, Maria immediately signed with an agent in Toronto and started starring in theatre productions across Canada.
In 2012 Maria moved her focus from stage to screen. In a short time Maria has done quite a bit of work guest starring in various TV series, and starring in short films, web series, and features films.
