Matthew Bohrer - Biography

Matthew Bohrer was born and raised in San Diego, California, where he began performing with an impression of Groucho Marx in the kindergarten talent show. He worked throughout San Diego, performing in shows at The Old Globe with the Playwrights Project and winning two San Diego Playbill Awards.

Bohrer went on to attend Harvard University for his B.A., studying acting at the American Repertory Theater and performing with the Hasty Pudding Theatricals. He also sang with the Krokodiloes, Harvard's oldest a cappella group, at Carnegie Hall and on a world tour of six continents.

Bohrer moved to LA in the fall after graduation, and began working on stage (The Sunshine Boys at the Ahmanson, opposite Danny DeVito, and the world premiere of Marjorie Prime at the Mark Taper Forum), on television (Masters of Sex, Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, House of Lies), and in film (Unfriended, Elie's Overcoat).
