Maya Murofushi - Biography

Born in Tokyo, Japan, the daughter of an orchestra conductor father and opera singer mother, Maya graduated high school in Japan and attended the University of Siena.

Scouted by a photographer in Italy, Maya's modeling career led to appearances on MTV in Italy and winning the Miss World Supermodel Pageant in 2010.

Following attendance at international acting schools in Japan, Maya now appears in theater, television, and local/international films, speaking English, Italian, Spanish, French fluently in addition to her native Japanese.
