Mayumi Yoshida - Biography

Actress Mayumi Yoshida was born in Yokohama,Japan. Her father being a journalist she had an international childhood living in Washington D.C.,Brussels,and Tokyo most of her life. In Tokyo,through 2005-2009 she starred in 25 theatre productions. She moved to Vancouver in 2010 to attend Vancouver Film School Acting for Film and Television Program. In addition to appearing in school productions, she also came first place in the monologue competition and won "Best outstanding performance" for her role in "There's no end" at the 2012 Spring Impact Awards. Yoshida is now a working actress in Vancouver.
