Meghan Deanna Smith - Biography

Meghan Deanna Smith was born in Buffalo, NY. After taking acting classes throughout her childhood, she went on to earn her BFA in Theatre Performance from Niagara University with a minor in Communications. After graduation, Meghan competed in the prestigious IMTA New York Competition (International Modeling and Talent Association) at which she was named IMTA's Actor of the Year, following in the footsteps of Katie Holmes, Eva Longoria, and Ashton Kutcher (previous IMTA Actors of the Year). She moved just outside NYC where she performed as the lead female in a sketch comedy production at the Producer's Club in Manhattan. With her background in both comedy and drama, and having studied improv/sketch writing at Second City Chicago, Meghan moved to Los Angeles. She landed the lead role of Allie in the indie film "Fragments of Allie" and was recently cast in the upcoming Sharknado Spinoff. Meghan is continuing to pursue her career in film and television in sunny California.
