Canadian born Melanie Tonello has had the honor of working with many world famous stars including: Julianne Moore and Woody Harrelson in "The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio", where she plays the role of Barbara: eighth of the ten children of Evelyn Ryan - of whom the film tells the inspirational true story. "Cheaper By the Dozen 2", acting alongside the irrepressible Steve Martin, Hilary Duff, Taylor Lautner, Alyson Stoner, Eugene Levy and Carmen Electra, as Becky Murtaugh: one of a family of eight competitive rival kids who take on Baker's (Steve Martin) dozen. She has also worked with Cameron Bright of "Godsend", Mila Jovovich and Oded Fehr of "Resident Evil, Apocalypse".
Melanie has voiced several radio and TV commercials. Melanie's voice is also known in many TV series, playing the lead role of Lizbeth in YTV's animation series titled, "Captain Flamingo", Rickie in WB's "Da Boom Crew", Tina Monkey in "Save-Ums", Kayla in "Miss BG" and Princess Sparkle in "Spider Riders". She has voiced guest spots in "Franny's Feet", "Atomic Betty", "DiGata Defenders", "Peep and the Big Wide World" and "Time Warp Trio".
Off-camera, Melanie enjoys singing, dancing, and writing.
