Melissa Saint-Amand was raised in a small town in Georgia in a house with stars on the chimney. In early adolescence Melissa moved to Columbus, Georgia, south of Atlanta and attended a magnet academy while acting regularly at the Springer Opera House. Throughout high school Melissa's goals shifted towards academia. By her Senior year she had no intention of pursuing an acting career, but on the day that unified college auditions were held at the Spring Opera house, an old mentor encouraged her to audition "just in case." Melissa ran through downtown Columbus barefoot in the snow to make it to her audition and was offered two full ride scholarships for her undergraduate career, finally accepting Rider University, in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Melissa graduated school in May of 2014 and now maintains an active working career, having already completed her first feature film within sixth months of graduation. She is now enjoying the crazy and wonderful adventure of life as a working actress and journeys home every year to spend new years with her best friend of 17 years.
